For parents and carers of infants who have been prescribed or recommended a specialist formula by a healthcare professional.

Introducing Alimentum® and EleCare®

Hypoallergenic formulas to support babies with CMA

If your baby has cow’s milk allergy (CMA), your healthcare professional may prescribe a ‘hypoallergenic formula’, which means that the formula will not cause allergic reactions in most babies with CMA.1

Both Alimentum and EleCare are considered to be hypoallergenic, and can be used to help your little one get the nutrients they need from birth, all the way through to weaning onto solid foods.

First to contain 2’-FL*

These are the first hypoallergenic formulas in the UK to contain 2’-FL*, a special carbohydrate that is naturally found in most mothers’ breast milk7

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Breastfeeding is best for infants and is recommended for as long as possible during infancy. Alimentum and EleCare are infant formulas for special medical purposes and should only be used under the recommendation or guidance of a healthcare professional.

*The 2'-FL (2'-fucosyllactose) used in this formula is biosynthesised and structurally identical to the human milk oligosaccharide (HMO) 2'-FL, found in most mothers' breast milk.7
