Abbott processes your Personal Data:

• to perform contract with you, such as purchase of nutritional products such as Similac
• to fulfil its legitimate business interest in doing so, in processing your data in other Abbott affiliates to provide technical support services.

Who does Abbott share your Personal Data with?

Abbott may share your Personal Data with its affiliate companies within its corporate group. Abbott may share your data with our delivery partner DPD in order to deliver and track your order. Does Abbott transfer your Personal Data outside of the European Union (EU)?

We may need to transfer your Personal Data to a location outside of the EU, including to countries that do not offer the same level of protection for Personal Data as required within the EU. Abbott transfers your Personal Data out of the EU to other Abbott affiliates subject to an approved Intra-group Data Transfer Agreement.

How long does Abbott store your Personal Data for?

Abbott retains your Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected (for example, to provide you with a service you requested from Abbott). Alternatively, Abbott may retain Personal Data where we are required to do so under law or for our legitimate business purposes pursuant to our record retention policies.

What Abbott does to keep Personal Data secure?

It is Abbott’s practice to secure each web page that collects personal information; however, the confidentiality of personal information transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to exercise caution when transmitting personal information over the Internet, especially personal information related to your health. Abbott cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not gain access to your personal information; therefore, when submitting personal information to our website, you must weigh both the benefits and the risks. In addition, our website covered by this Privacy Policy will display a warning whenever you link to a Website that is not controlled by Abbott or subject to an Abbott privacy policy; you should check the privacy policies of such third-party Websites before submitting personal information.

What rights do you have in relation to your Personal Data?

You may have the right to request access to your Personal Data, to have it rectified or erased, to object to its processing or to have access to it restricted. You may also have the right to have your Personal Data sent by us to another entity, or the right to not be subject to any decision that significantly affects you being taken solely by automated processing, including profiling. We may ask you for additional information to confirm your identity and for security purposes, before responding to any request you submit. You also have the right to lodge a complaint about how we process your Personal Data with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.

Does Abbott process your Personal Data to make automated decisions about you?

No. Abbott does not use automated decision making technology in conjunction with your Personal Data.
